This unique social experiment has one extraordinary ambition: to re-unite a community through bread. The journey begins in a local church hall of a Yorkshire town, where a small group of women led by curate Cath Vickers have set up a bread group, believing... that it will help bring community spirit back to the town. To help the baking group make the leap from village hall amateurs to professional bakers, they are mentored by professional artisan bakers, Patrick Ryan & Duncan Glendinning. We follow the women through their journey to launch the local community bakery and discover that bread does indeed have the power to shape and connect people.
