A gripping new true-crime series that puts viewers at the heart of fatal car crash investigations, where what really happened is rarely clear and someone is likely hiding the truth.

Each episode begins by plunging the viewer into the scene... of a devastating collision. First responders race to save lives and police begin the painstaking task of working out what happened. A fatal crash may look like a tragic accident but it is initially treated as a potential murder. Every possibility must be considered until other explanations can be found. Was it simply a terrible accident, or was someone responsible?

As the investigation unfolds, the story becomes a race to uncover the truth. Conflicting accounts, damaged vehicles, CCTV, dashcam footage, forensic evidence and police interviews gradually reveal what happened in the lead up to the crash. Friends, family, witnesses, first responders and detectives bring us inside the investigation, while those closest to the crash may hold the key or have their own reasons for concealing the truth.

Told through compelling first-person testimony and extraordinary access to the evidence, each episode unfolds as a real-life thriller, with new revelations constantly challenging what we think we know. Every story will have a mystery to unravel, a compelling detective story to follow and someone who may be lying.
