A highly topical sitcom format to be broadcast during the climax of an election campaign, written by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton (Outnumbered, Drop the Dead Donkey).

A unique comedy talking about the events of the day. It’s intercut... between the various campaign teams of the main political parties (in the UK: Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and UKIP) and sometimes includes comic dialogue about stories that have emerged only a few hours before transmission.

On each bus follows the fortunes of a rich collection of characters, such as SPADS, press officers, line managers, empathy consultants, IT wizards, social media monitors, political analysts, interns and bus drivers, as they crisis-manage the latest dramas and developments which viewer have just seen on the TV or laptops or read about in their newspapers.
