HAT TRICK INTERNATIONAL SECURES FORMAT RIGHTS TO NANNY CADDIES PLAY TIME

UK-based factual and scripted distributor Hat Trick International (HTI) has struck a format representation deal with prodco Nanny Caddie.
Under the deal, HTI has secured international rights for a brand-new format Play Time (pictured) in which six neurodivergent comedians visit a local primary school whey they are challenged, in the course of one school day, to create and perform an original stage play thats based entirely on the ideas of a neurodiverse group of six- to eight-year-old school children.
The original format is based on a new commission from this years ITV Fresh Cuts program funded by ITVs 80 million Diversity Commissioning Spend. It is an original idea from Nanny Caddie founders; writer and series director Cin McGillicuddy and writer-editor Andy Kinnear.
The series is set to air on November 10 on ITV, with episodes also being available to stream on ITVX and YouTube. The first episode features comedians Cariad Lloyd, Inel Tomlinson, Stuart Laws, Bec Hill, Aruhan Galieva and puppeteer Chris Barlow.
