Healthy ratings for Hugh's Fat Fight!

Keo Films four-part crusade against obesity outstripped the launch of each of the chefs previous BBC1 efforts.

In a 9pm Monday slot in October last year, Saving Africas Elephants: Hugh and the Ivory War, averaged 1.9m (9.2%).

Two-parter Hughs War on Waste, which aired in November 2015, launched with 3.3m (15.1%), rising to 4.6m (21.6%) in its second week. A follow-up aired in July 2016 attracted an overnight audience of 3.6m (18%).

Hughs Fat Fight also beat the BBC1 slot average of 3.5m (17.4%).
BBC1 won the 9pm slot ahead of ITV, where the penultimate episode of Benidorm series 10 attracted 3.2m (17.3%), according to Barb data from overnights.tv.
